Aurora, IL (November 8, 2010) – The Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Meeting Luncheon and Business Awards Celebration at the Aurora Country Club, 1548 West Prairie in Aurora on Tuesday November 23, 2010. The Chamber is expecting hundreds of business owners, managers and employees to attend the 2010 event which will feature Congressman-Elect, current State Senator Randy Hultgren.
Given the highly anticipated appearance of the new congressman-elect, current State Senator Randy Hultgren, the annual event will have a different feel from events past. A representative from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will also be in attendance speaking to members about the 2011 business climate outlook. The day’s agenda will start off at 11:30 a.m. with a Chamber CEO Roundtable which will offer attendees an opportunity to meet with Hultgren one on one in a small group setting. The roundtable will be immediately followed by the membership luncheon. Joseph Henning, President and CEO of the Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce, will host the meeting and business awards towards the conclusion of the luncheon. $55 members, $75 non-members.
“It is a celebration of our members and their business success,” explains Joseph Henning, IOM, chamber President and CEO. “The business community’s ability to work together during this economy has created a number of results to celebrate. Among those highlights are our Business of the Year awards which will be announced that afternoon.”
Past Chairman Dr. Bill Marzano of Waubonsee Community College will pass the gavel on to Board Chairman Scott Voris of Kelmscott Communications. Business award recipients from last year will be in attendance to grant this year’s privileged winners with their award.
