The Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce Leadership Academy is offered to representatives of member businesses and organizations and is designed to prepare a select group of qualified candidates for future leadership roles in the Aurora area.

PETER TARGOS, CATERPILLAR: “We all learned how to improve our personal leadership skills, how those skills are used locally by leaders in our community, and most importantly how we can apply what we learned through practice and giving back to our community.”

During the past three decades, more than 400 have graduated from the program. Alumni have moved up the corporate ladder to executive positions; they have been elected or appointed to leadership roles in local and state government; they have become involved in numerous boards and advisory groups in the community.
