Francis Lopez is the Events Coordinator at the Aurora Regional Economic Alliance, where she leads the planning and execution of events that foster networking, engagement, and community among members.

Born and raised on the east side of Aurora, Francis has deep roots in her hometown. She began her professional journey working at a small chiropractic business, where she developed an early interest in health and wellness. This experience led her to begin her studies at Waubonsee Community College while transitioning into a role at a larger healthcare organization and gaining broader insight into the industry. She earned an Associate Degree in Science from Waubonsee and later transferred to Roosevelt University to pursue studies in Biological Sciences.

However, her passion for event planning ultimately inspired a career shift to become a Certified Wedding and Event Planner (CWEP). She launched her own event planning business and turned her creativity and organizational talent into a thriving profession.

In her free time, Francis loves to travel, explore DIY projects, and spend quality time with her family, especially as a proud auntie to her five nieces and nephews, including two sets of twins.
